TECHNICAL DATA CAPRAN® 980 Bagging Film Heat stabilized Nylon Film
DESCRIPTION CAPRAN® 980 is a clear (low haze level), heat-stabilized, cast film produced from a modified nylon resin.
APPLICATION CAPRAN® 980 is a cast film recommended as a bagging film for advanced composite fabrication, transparency laminating and other high-temperature applications where dimensional stability and uniform film gauge are essential. In addition, CAPRAN® 980 has excellent heat stability and resistance to pinholing. CAPRAN® 980 can be used in cure cycles up to 400°F (205°C). CAPRAN® 980 can be heat seamed to meet any custom shape requirements.

CAPRAN® 980 is available in sheeting only at .002" (.051mm), .003" (.076mm), .004" (.10mm) and .005" (.12mm) thicknesses and widths to 88" (2.2m).
