TECHNICAL DATA QuickDraw® HS 8171 Bagging Film Self Venting High Temperature Nylon 6 Film
DESCRIPTION QuickDraw® HS 8171 is a self-venting, high temperature nylon bagging film designed to eliminate the need for breather and release film in general vacuum bagging processes.
APPLICATION QuickDraw® HS 8171 offers the unique opportunity to vacuum bag for pre-preg compaction cycles, wet lay ups, resin infusion or UV curing with out the need to use breather materials or air flow media or release films. The embossing of the film provides for the air pathway to extract the under bag entrapped air and hold a positive vacuum throughout the selected process. QuickDraw® HS 8171 is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 400°F (205°C) providing sufficient temperature resistant to accommodate most common resin exothermic reactions.
