TECHNICAL DATA TOOLCOAT Pressure Sensitive TFE Fiberglass Tape/Sheet
DESCRIPTION TOOLCOAT is a Tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) impregnated fiberglass pressure sensitive tape, with a fully cured silicone adhesive, or acrylic adhesive.
APPLICATION TOOLCOAT adheres to tool surfaces to provide multiple releases on all types of tooling surfaces. TOOLCOAT eliminates the need for liquid or paste release coatings on tool surfaces that may be potential contamination problems, and is especially useful on composite tools and press platens. TOOLCOAT gives optimum release, low friction, electrical insulation, dimensional stability and temperature resistance.
Other applications are flash control, heat-sealing machines, covering of coating and drying rolls, chute lining, linings for guide rails, and any other non-stick, low friction applications.
