TECHNICAL DATA VAC-PAK® HS 8171-PS High Temperature Pressure Sensitive Rubber Base Adhesive Nylon Tape
DESCRIPTION VAC-PAK® HS 8171-PS is a 2 mil, high-temperature, green nylon tape, with a pressure-sensitive, rubber-base adhesive on one side for use at temperatures to 400° F (204°C). E 2760 is a red tinted, co-polymer, high elongation, low temperature release film with excellent conformability.
APPLICATION VAC-PAK® HS 8171-PS is designed to remove cleanly during masking operations in applications involving high temperature and pressure. High elongation properties provide a high degree of conformability. VAC-PAK® HS 8171-PS The rubber-base (non-silicone) adhesive allows use on parts where subsequent painting or bonding is necessary. VAC-PAK® HS 8171-PS can be expected to perform satisfactorily in 400°F (204°C) cure cycles. The high stretch and thinness offer excellent conformability and clean, sharp edges.
